Inpatient



For patients with an admission appointment

People with an admission appointment should visit the Admissions Reception on the first floor where staff will take you through the necessary paperwork.
For people whose admission date has not yet been scheduled, the hospital will make contact at a later date.

Procedures on the day of admission (first floor Admissions Reception) from 8:45 a.m.
(However, this does not apply to specified cases)

What you need for the admission procedures

*Essential items to bring
Patient registration card, health insurance card and medical certificate,
seal stamp, admission application form, eligibility certificate for ceiling amount application (for those applying for high cost medial treatment)
People who have claimed or wish to claim medical welfare (public subsidies for medical and surgical care for disabled children under 18 (Ryoiku Iryo), for disabled persons aged 18 and over (Kosei Iryo), premature infants (Ikusei Iryo), etc.), or worker's compensation are requested to inform staff of this during the admission procedures. Also, people being admitted to hospital following a traffic accident related injury are asked to inform staff of this.
Should any details on your health insurance card change during your inpatient stay, or if you lose eligibility, ensure you inform the Admissions Reception on the first floor of the matter.
If you wish to change the day or time of your admission, or cancel it altogether, contact the Admissions Reception in advance by phone.

What to bring when admitted

Please bring the following items. Some of them can also be purchased from the shop inside the hospital
*Toiletries
Toothbrush, toothpaste, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, razor etc.
*Eating utensils
Only chopsticks, spoon, teacup etc. are provided with meals. If you wish to use any of your own items, please ensure you bring them.
*Clothing
Pajamas, underwear, gown or cover-up
*Other everyday essentials
Comfortable, non-slip indoor shoes, bath towel, tissue paper, container for dentures, diapers if necessary, disposable wipes, body wipes etc.
*Information for inpatients, seal stamp, writing implements
*Medicine to bring in
Bring all the current medicines you are taking together with the information sheets
*Regarding the bringing in of scissors etc.
The bringing in of blades such as scissors, razors, fruit knives and nail clippers into the hospital is not permitted. Your cooperation in this regard is appreciated.

People admitted to the following clinical departments need to bring the
following in addition to the above.
Pediatrics
Maternal and Child Health Handbook (with any supplements)
5 or 6 changes of clothes (light clothing with wide sleeves)
4 to 5 bath towels
3 to 4 towels
Diapers or pants
Body wipes
Underclothes (except for newborn babies)
Sleep wear and changes of clothes for the accompanying person
One set of feeding equipment and milk (only when necessary)
Items necessary when having gynecological surgery
Gynecological surgery pads (M)1 type (can be purchased from the shop)

Visitors

Restrictions on visits to hospital wards

In order to prevent infection by the new strain of coronavirus, visits to inpatients have been prohibited in principle since March 30, 2020 (Mon.), but will be changed as follows effective May 8, 2023 (Mon.).
In order to prevent the transmission of the new coronavirus and to ensure security in the hospital wards, visits to the hospital wards to receive visitors and packages will be restricted as follows.
・From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
・Short visits (about 15 minutes)
・Only one family member is allowed.
・Wearing a mask in the hospital
Those who visit the hospital wards for visits, etc., must go to the “Disaster Prevention Center” for reception.
After filling out the “Ward Visit Form,” you will be given an acceptance sticker, which you are required to wear.
